What is the Avatar feature?

The Avatar feature lets users create their own virtual selves. Once enabled, these customizable Avatars will appear on screen whilst users are video chatting.

If you’re looking to bring your unique style or personality to video chats or would prefer to ease into new matches without the pressure of having to show your face straight away, then the Avatar feature is for you!

How do I switch on the Avatar feature?

To switch on the Avatar feature, click on the Avatar icon that appears under your profile, in the upper left corner of the screen.

The Avatar feature is only available on the following devices:  iPhone 7 and above, and Galaxy S7 and above.

Note: The Avatar feature might not be supported on all of the above devices due to device specifications.

How do I switch off the Avatar feature?

To switch off the Avatar feature, click on the camera icon that appears under your profile, in the upper left corner of the screen.

How do I customize my Avatar?

1. Turn on the Avatar feature in the upper left corner of the screen.
2.  Click on the studio button in the upper left corner of the screen (  ). 
3. Once in the studio, browse through and select your preferred clothes, accessories, skin tone, hair and eye color, background images, and more. 

Note: If you would like to speed up the process, choose a preset from the Best set tab (  ).
