How does it work?
Conversations Your chats are converted to text and analyzed for us to understand your interests, Vibes, and generate summaries.
Interests Once you've chatted enough, we’ll extract a few interests — AI tags describing interests we think you have — from your analyzed conversations. You choose whether to add them to your profile.
Vibes Once you've chatted enough, we’ll extract up to 3 Vibes — AI tags describing your conversation style — from your analyzed conversations. You choose whether to add them to your profile.
Hints and icebreakers Based on your interests, we suggest icebreakers as well as quick hints that will appear discreetly on your screen.
Smarter Recommendations The more you chat, the better your recommendations get. We will use your interests and Vibes to better recommend you to new friends.
You're in control of your data
Always Your Choice Azar Assistant is completely optional and based on your consent. You can use Azar without it, no problem! You can toggle it ON/OFF anytime in Settings > Azar Assistant.
Turning off Azar Assistant features stops your conversation from being analyzed and new interests of Vibes from being extracted or used.
Product improvement We may use your conversation data to improve and develop Azar Assistant based on our legitimate interest.
To minimize conversation data processing, we use automated tools to remove sensitive data (e.g., health, religious / philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, etc.,) that you may have voluntarily shared during your chats before using the conversation transcripts to improve Azar Assistant.
You can ask us anytime to stop using your conversation data to improve Azar Assistant by toggling this OFF in Settings > Help Improve Azar.
Conversations
Easy Conversation Deletion Conversations are retained for the life of your account, unless you choose to delete them earlier. You can delete your conversations for a specific period in the ‘Delete My Conversation Data’ menu.
Download your conversations You can easily download your conversations by requesting a copy of your personal data by going to Settings > Account Settings > Request My Azar Data’. More information here.
Interests
Add & delete yourself You can add and/or delete interests yourself to make Azar Assistant even better.
Interests extracted from conversations You can remove interests you don’t want us to use anymore by deselecting them in your Profile.
Vibes
Manage your Vibes You can hide any Vibe from your profile by going to Settings > Account Settings > Vibes > ON/OFF; or simply delete any Vibe you don't want anymore by going to Settings > Account Settings > Vibes > slide left.
Azar’s data practices
For safety and quality monitoring purposes, Azar trained agents may look at 1% of the conversation transcripts.
