Starting from iOS 7.0.0, the Discover tab introduces a new feature that lets you view profile cards, send invites, and start video chats with people you discover directly from the tab.
You’ll receive profile cards one at a time so you can send or accept invites and start video chats directly from the Discover tab.
How it works
1. Making a connection
- When you send an invite and the other person accepts, you become connected within the Discover tab.
- Once both users accept, you’ll have the option to start a video chat whenever both are available.
- If both users agree to start a video chat by tapping the “Let’s chat” button, the chat will begin instantly.
2. Ending a connection
- You can manually remove a connection from your list at any time.
- Some connections may end automatically if either user becomes inactive.
Profile Cards and Actions
In the Discover tab, you’ll see profile cards that allow you to:
- Send an Invite
- Accept an Invite
After a successful connection:
- The user appears in your connection list.
If a connection cannot be made, possible reasons include:
- Your connection list is full (maximum 10 people).
- You’re under restriction.
- Screen recording or mirroring is in progress.
- The other user’s account is unavailable.
Gender and Country Filters
- You can apply filters for gender or country to shape your Discover experience.
- Some options are free, while others require Gems.
- If you don’t have enough Gems, a pop‑up will guide you to purchase more.
- Paid filters visually highlight applicable cards with a subtle border.
Viewing Quota and Refresh
- Each user receives a certain number of free profile views per cycle.
- Your profile deck (the list of profiles available to view) refreshes every 24 hours, starting from the moment you first open the Discover tab and view a profile.
- Closing and reopening the app does not reset this refresh timer.
- If you refill your deck using Gems, a new 24-hour timer will start from the time of the refill.
- When your quota runs out, you can either wait for the next deck refresh or use Gems to replenish it instantly.
Tips for the Best Experience
- Keep your app updated. The new Discover tab feature is available only on iOS 7.0.0 and later.
- Manage your connection list regularly to make room for new people.
- Both sides need to be online for reconnecting and chatting to work smoothly.

Q: Can I meet the same person again?
A: Yes, it’s possible. While the Discover tab mainly introduces new profiles, you might see someone you’ve interacted with before.

A: You can send invites to every profile card currently in your deck.

A: Your connection list refreshes every few seconds, and the rejected request will disappear automatically. If your invite is rejected, it disappears right away and your connection list updates instantly.
