What happens after I submit a report?
Once we receive your report, we will review it promptly and notify you that we have received it.
We will notify you of our decision, including the specific grounds for it. If the content is removed, the person who posted it will also be notified, but we will not share your personal information. If we determine the content does not meet the threshold for removal, you will be notified and given information on how to appeal that decision. If we need more information to locate the content, we may contact you using the details you provide.
Can I appeal a decision?
Yes. If you disagree with the outcome of your report, you may appeal the decision. Details on how to submit an appeal will be included in the notification you receive.
Are support resources available?
Yes. We understand that situations like this can be distressing. If you need immediate support, the Brazilian government provides a free, confidential helpline for women:
Central de Atendimento à Mulher — Ligue 180
Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, free of charge. Dial 180 provides support, guidance, and referrals for women experiencing violence or in situations of risk.
You can also visit STOPNCII.org for information and support related to non-consensual intimate image abuse. These resources are optional and are available if they may be helpful to you.
