Long version
Azar is a live video chat platform, and, as such, your actions directly affect people and our community. We encourage you to be yourself, as long as your behavior is respectful of others. We at Azar value our community and strive to maintain a safe environment for our users. This is a big, big deal for us, so please, help us ensure a pleasant experience by respecting others, so everyone can have fun and share their lives.
Below you can find our community guidelines. We want Azar to continue to be an authentic and safe place for everyone. As such, this guideline is designed to enable an enjoyable and safe experience for each user on our platform. Help us keep the Azar community strong.
Be yourself
Impersonation: Don’t impersonate others (e.g. fake gender, name, or photo). Tell us about the 'real' you when setting up a profile and matching with other users. We support and encourage you to be true to yourself and others. Smile, you’re on live video!
One person, One Account: Your account represents who you are.
We at Azar intend to help you express yourself in a truthful manner. We encourage users to have healthy interactions on this platform. Now, are you ready to have fun and meet some really awesome people? Swipe and enjoy!
Real Users: Azar is a platform that creates an entertaining and transparent environment for real users. We take a strong stance against fake profiles and spam accounts and this is an Azar characteristic that differentiates us from other apps. Here, we believe that being yourself is super cool.
Show us the best version of you
Manner, environment: We’re not asking you to be in a suit, or any classy dress. But come on, you’re meeting many new exciting people. Why don’t we make a good first impression? Be on camera like it is your first day of college.
Make someone’s day
Nudity, Sexual Content, Unwanted Flirting: No nudity nor sexually explicit content is acceptable in the Azar community. Displaying any unsolicited sexual content to your matches is prohibited. Unwanted flirting can scare people, especially when it is sexual in nature. Just because you are talking to your match does not mean she or he will gladly accept whatever you share with them.
Hate Speech, Harassment: Kind words or a nice joke can make someone’s day. On the other hand, inconsiderate and rude speech can be harmful. Any content that promotes/advocates for or condones racism, bigotry, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on factors including (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or gender identity is not allowed. Also, reports of stalking, threats, bullying, or intimidation are taken very seriously and handled with care.
Violence and Physical Harm: We do not tolerate violent, graphic, or gory actions that advocate or threaten violence of any sort, including threatening or promoting terrorism. Physical assault, coercion, and any acts of violence are strictly prohibited on Azar.
Share something good, not these:
Private Information: There are several good things you can share during a match on Azar - your favorite music band, movies, and anything that you care about. But private information is not one of these things. It is explicitly forbidden to share and receive personal information. Please, do not publicly broadcast any private information of yours or anyone else’s. This includes social security numbers, passports, passwords, financial information or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses, home/work address.
Spam or Promotion: Do not use Azar to sell or promote any product, service, beliefs or events that you are related to. You can talk about what you are working on and what you are interested in, but the purpose of your profile should not be to advertise them.
Prostitution and Trafficking, Scamming: Promoting or advocating commercial sexual services, human trafficking or other non-consensual sexual acts is strictly prohibited and will result in your account being banned from Azar.
Report inappropriate users.
You can report abuse, spam or anything that doesn’t follow our community guidelines from within the app. The Azar Team regularly checks all reported content in order to create a safer platform for our users. We encourage you to report any kind of harassment, offensive language and sexual content that causes any disturbance and violates our guidelines. We're here to help and with your support, we can keep the Azar community healthy. Let's keep Azar clean and create a safe environment for everyone!
